What is the Prince George Genealogical Society?

We are a group of people who meet to discuss our successes and failures while researching our ancestors who came from all over the world. In our hunt to find them we gratefully accept the support, advice, and ideas our fellow members provide us. Member Pages

The Society has a well stocked library which contains worldwide reference books, directories, periodicals, and more. Library Holdings

Our quarterly newsletter "Tree Tracer" includes interesting snippets about Prince George and area history, articles of interest to genealogists, queries, trivia, member news, and more. Submissions from all members are welcome.

General meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month from September to June at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 1500 Edmonton St., Prince George. The Library is open to members at 6:30 pm and meetings begin at 7:00 pm. Executive meetings are also held at the Church on the first Tuesday of each month. Members are encouraged to attend both meetings. A variety of activities and speakers are offered throughout the season. Meetings & Executive
